Michelle Fetters

Michelle is a wife, mother, horsewomen and transformational guide. She has had horses since she was 14 years old and really considers them as part of her family, she cannot imagine her life without a horse. Michelle dreamed of having a horse since she was 5 years old and at age 14, her dad surprised her with her very first horse, a Welsh/Quarter Horse cross. Then her dad caught the equine bug too! He acquired more horses, horse property and began studying reining and cutting. As a teenager, Michelle participated in western pleasure, western equitation and halter classes and helping her dad train and raise foals.
Later in life, Michelle and her husband, Randy, raised quarter horses and paints with a very specific focus on breeding good all-around family horses. Michelle’s specialty is training horses with a natural equine-herd language & communication. She enjoys teaching riding lessons, teaching people the skillset of ground training for the horse using equine psychology & communication, teaching holistic health & wellbeing for the horse and safely for humans & horses. She has coached and mentored many families in purchasing, leasing and caring for their first horse or horses.
Studying horses and natural horsemanship for the purpose of breeding, raising and training horses has given Michelle the unexpected gift of elevating every area of her life. This wisdom and equine philosophy have become invaluable to Michelle, as the skills acquired in non- verbal communication, rapport building, trust, connection, leadership and co-creation have inspired Michelle in all aspects of her life such as, relationships, spiritually, family, raising children, corporate work and team building, non-profit & community organizations, etc.
Michelle’s passions are family, horses, children, young adults, communication, team building, connection, love, leadership and creating a supreme space for all beings. It is also her core belief that each of us has our own internal wisdom to draw from and through focused personal development we can elevate every area of our life and those around us. She believes adding value to our community and to the horse is very important, so she volunteers for non-profit organizations such as, Horse Nation Foundation where she volunteers her time to rehabilitate & retrain rescue horses along with mentoring youth & volunteers who help nurture the horses. She also works with Dream Catchers LA a non-profit therapeutic riding center.
In addition to studying horsemanship, Michelle spent 25 years in the corporate world building teams and operational platforms for growing businesses. She has attended and assisted at Landmark Education--Living Life Powerfully, she is certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming-The study of Human Behavior and Excellence. She is a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She thoroughly enjoys the study of Equine Experiential Learning & Development for humans and will always continue her favorite life time study of Natural Horsemanship.
Through Michelle’s life journey, she has found that horses can truly enrich our connection to self, allowing humans to organically transform limiting beliefs and habits, create self-awareness and self-confidence, giving humans true authentic power to realize a life of purpose and ultimately freedom and joyful co-creation. What horses have to offer, is truly Miraculous!!!

Epona
Epona is the Celtic Horse Goddess whose worship spread to Britain and Rome from Western Europe. Her name means "Divine mare" in Gaulish. An ancient symbol of abundance, healing, transformation and balance. Epona became the protector of horses. She and her horses might also have been leaders of the soul in the after-life ride. As Protectors of the horse, I invite YOU on a Journey of Awareness and Understanding of the horse and for the horse. |
